Mouse tests
Check every button, the wheel, double click chatter, the real DPI and the polling rate of your mouse, right in your browser.
- Mouse test Move your cursor into the test area and press every button. Each click and each scroll notch lights up on the mouse diagram and is counted. Live
- Double click test Click normally in the test area, one click at a time, about 50 times. The test measures the gap between presses and tells you if the switch chatters. 50 clicks
- DPI analyzer Put a ruler on your desk, move your mouse exactly 4 inches, and read your sensor's real DPI. Do it 3 times for a reliable average. 4 in
- Mouse scroll test Put your cursor in the test area and scroll slowly one way, then the other. Every notch is counted and any jump in the wrong direction shows in red. Notches
- Polling rate test Move your mouse in fast, continuous circles over the test area. After 2 seconds you get the real polling rate in Hz and the nearest standard setting. Hz
Run the mouse test first: every button, the side buttons and both scroll directions should register exactly once. Then use the double click test if a single click sometimes opens files or drops items: it measures the gap between presses and spots a chattering switch.
For aim, the DPI analyzer measures your sensor’s real DPI with a ruler, and the polling rate test shows how often the mouse reports its position. Both numbers matter when you convert your sensitivity between games.
